Indications and Usage:
Loprox shampoo is indicated for the topical treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp in adults.
Side Effects and Contraindications:
If no clinical improvement is shown after four weeks of treatment, the diagnosis should be reviewed. Loprox Shampoo is contraindicated in individuals who have shown hypersensitivity to any of its components. The most common adverse reactions are pruritus, burning, erythema, seborrhea, and rash. If a reaction suggesting sensitivity or irritation should occur, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted.
