Indications and Usage:
Zovirax is indicated for the acute treatment of herpes zoster (shingles), initial episodes and the management of recurrent episodes of genital herpes, and the treatment of chickenpox (varicella).

Side Effects and Contraindications:
Side effects may include nausea and/or vomiting, diarrhea, and headache. Zovirax is contraindicated for patients who develop hypersensitivity to acyclovir or valacyclovir.
