Bactroban® (mupirocin calcium) Pregnancy B Lacatition Generic Pediatric

How Supplied:

2% cream, 15 g and 30 g; 2% ointment, 22g; 2% nasal ointment, 1.0 g, 10 tubes per carton

Indications and Usage:

Bactroban (mupirocin) cream is indicated for the treatment of secondarily infected traumatic skin lesions such as small lacerations, sutured wounds or abrasions. Bactroban (mupirocin) ointment is indicated for the treatment of mild impetigo.

Side Effects and Contraindications:

Side effects may include skin irritation secondary to allergic reaction, dryness or unpleasant taste in mouth, headache, ear pain, runny or stuffy nose, nausea, skin rash, cough or sore throat. Rare or more serious side effects such as severe burning or stinging in the nose, nosebleed, or severe burning or watering of the eyes.
