Indications and Usage:
Topicaine is indicated for the temporary relief of pain and itching due to anorectal disorders.
Side Effects and Contraindications:
Side effects may include the development of erythema or edema or may be the locus of abnormal sensation. These effects are mild and transient, resolving spontaneously within 1 or 2 hours. Other common effects are paleness (pallor or blanching), and less frequently alterations in temperature sensations, edema, itching and rash.
